The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. 5 minutes into the match, Tanju Tümenbay notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤'s Jose Balvín got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Tanju Tümenbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tanju Tümenbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Batıkan Canberk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Tanju Tümenbay notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanju Tümenbay in the 40th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Tanju Tümenbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Tanju Tümenbay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 0-6. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirza Olgunsoy having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanju Tümenbay in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Eleuterio Cesario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batıkan Canberk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Tanju Tümenbay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tanju Tümenbay really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. If Tanju Tümenbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
