Braulio Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartlomiej Rakoski made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Braulio Gartxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Gartxot having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel da Rocha in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Marcel da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Red Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 62 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Santino Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Braulio Gartxot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Braulio Gartxot made a huge save. Red Devils's Kazimierz Deyna was substituted for Radoslaw Solibieda. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. In the 74th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Red Devils's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. Abram Secada made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 79th minute, Simone Spano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcel da Rocha took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Marcel da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Marcel da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Braulio Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Red Devils.
