Manole Vulturar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernso Constant, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Poplăcan came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Alphonse might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manole Vulturar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Alphonse ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jonathan Alphonse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Domnescu in the 24th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calistrat Pipirig made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Haiti's Raymond Louis. Horea Poplăcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. Manole Vulturar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Alphonse in the 42nd minute. Manole Vulturar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute of the match, Jonathan Alphonse tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manole Vulturar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The referee gave BlackKnights a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Albert Spelbu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. 0-1. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Spelbu in the 57th minute of play. Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Domnescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute Jonathan Alphonse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Vulturar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Jean Marie Alcius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When Jonathan Alphonse fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haiti's protests and gave Jonathan Alphonse a yellow card for diving instead. Albert Spelbu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Noel Seide came out and tried to block the shot, but Albert Spelbu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 86th minute. After 89 minutes of play Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of BlackKnights booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Alphonse didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in BlackKnights's zone, Philippe Ambroise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manole Vulturar came out of the goal and Philippe Ambroise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Calistrat Pipirig with Victor Sbârcea as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Haiti booed when BlackKnights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Pipirig didn't get a good kick on the ball.
