Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stamen Kapitanov having to make a save. Stamen Kapitanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's Felix Garrido managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Murilo Pirani in the 27 minute of the game. Sten Askestät sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sten Askestät had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Stamen Kapitanov in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chile were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after FC Builder Sofia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. Stamen Kapitanov made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. When FC Builder Sofia's Sten Askestät in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Yulian Ivanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yulian Ivanov couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sten Askestät to make the kick off. A well placed Yulian Ivanov short distance shot in the 53rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Sten Askestät's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Thiago Pliego skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sten Askestät blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. When Sten Askestät came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the FC Builder Sofia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Askestät couldn't finish the play. FC Builder Sofia's Tomislav Pandov was substituted for Dobri Zhablenski. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Pedro Indiano hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, Sten Askestät cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sten Askestät's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. When Sten Askestät came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the FC Builder Sofia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Askestät couldn't finish the play. Yulian Ivanov scored 0-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Orlando Casaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamen Kapitanov having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd match minute, FC Builder Sofia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Souza to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes FC Builder Sofia got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Pirani.
