Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Fetiyerd's Aurelio Rivas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Montes Quevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 7th minute of play. The Fetiyerd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Rivas in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Fetiyerd were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aurelio Rivas took the corner. The Fetiyerd fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Fetiyerd's Severiano Rua looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fetiyerd's Montes Quevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Fetiyerd from getting a goal against them. After 24 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Montes Quevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute. Severiano Rua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute, Fernan Arraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Rua in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Fetiyerd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zak Warrender to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Aurelio Rivas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fetiyerd's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Rivas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fetiyerd's Aurelio Rivas in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Montes Quevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Rivas's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Montes Quevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 63rd minute of play. Severiano Rua received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Severiano Rua slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 65th minute. Fetiyerd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aurelio Rivas in the 68th minute. Aurelio Rivas made a great header on Fetiyerd's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Montes Quevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 70th minute of the match. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Montes Quevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aurelio Rivas came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Fetiyerd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Rivas couldn't finish the play. Montes Quevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Fetiyerd's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Montes Quevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montes Quevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Aurelio Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
