After 33 minutes of play, Kutsikad's Norberto Indalecio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Daniel Buffon in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Preetamjot Aşuräliyev charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Abram Sarmiento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Buffon. That made the score 2-2 after 48 minutes of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevin Ööpik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reino Kaldvee helped the player get up and apologised. Kutsikad's Octave Questel was substituted for Norberto Indalecio. Doğuş Baykara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Doğuş Baykara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Doğuş Baykara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doğuş Baykara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğuş Baykara in the 83rd minute of play. Kutsikad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. 98 minutes into the game, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3.
