Furia Albiceleste's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Casaus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 7th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Furia Albiceleste defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 郑阳洋. The Furia Albiceleste fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 郑阳洋 should have stopped the shot. Furia Albiceleste made a substitution. Esteban Dolcet replaced Ernesto Acher. If Leon Silvanito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 郑阳洋 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Furia Albiceleste's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but 郑阳洋 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 郑阳洋 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 32nd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 郑阳洋 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Leon Silvanito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Furia Albiceleste got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Denis Ascencio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Denis Ascencio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. 38 minutes into the match, Furia Albiceleste's Leon Silvanito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Leon Silvanito made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 56th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Leon Silvanito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Leon Silvanito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 郑阳洋 was a little too slow when Mariano Lacasa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-6. Furia Albiceleste's Arnaud Billen was substituted for Silvio Marquez. Furia Albiceleste's 郑阳洋 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Furia Albiceleste from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, Furia Albiceleste's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but 郑阳洋 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 郑阳洋 made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Silvanito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Furia Albiceleste's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Mariano Lacasa scored to the left of an out of position 郑阳洋, making the score, 1-7. Furia Albiceleste made a substitution. Enzo Copetti replaced Denis Ascencio. Chile's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
