Macos Graciani made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luca Zorita immediately put the ball in play. Marcelino Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute of the match. MengãOShowS - FDFDF's Aírton Travassos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Macos Graciani in the 15 minute of the game. Adrian Mutu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Per-Olof Sigfridsson hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelino Flor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Frank Arruda took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Mancebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Flor was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. With an all-out effort, MengãOShowS - FDFDF's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adrian Mutu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 41st minute of the game Macos Graciani made a throw-in which Luca Rouco played forward. In the 44th minute Adrian Mutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when MengãOShowS - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. 龚明潮 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Arruda to make the kick off. In the 60th minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MengãOShowS - FDFDF's Aírton Travassos got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Tony Albuquerque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Moreira in the 85th minute of play.
