Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aleksander Bykowski started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksander Bykowski got free with Benito Sanz in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Kopacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Wiktor Pionek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gortaty's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. Wiktor Pionek hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Franciszek Wicherek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Bykowski in the 26th minute of the match. Karol Kopacz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Gortaty defense, Axel Tasis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karol Kopacz. The Gortaty fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karol Kopacz should have stopped the shot. When Franciszek Wicherek came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Gortaty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franciszek Wicherek couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 40th minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Gortaty's Sebastian Kasiewski tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Bykowski in the 46th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Grzegorz Wodaszak hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the game, Gortaty's Aleksander Bykowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Siembab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karol Kopacz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Tasis in the 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Basaik to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 67 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Aleksander Bykowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aaron Alcocer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karol Kopacz having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaw Basaik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karol Kopacz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute of the match Efrain Moruga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karol Kopacz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gortaty's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
