Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Pereyra in the 15th minute of play. Bonifacio Roca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Samuel Valgma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Valgma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, C.A. MILO's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Bonifacio Roca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Strahil Sapundzhiev hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. C.A. MILO's Bonifacio Roca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bonifacio Roca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play forced C.A. MILO's goalkeeper Bonifacio Roca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. MILO's Bonifacio Roca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Valgma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marcelo Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. MILO's protests and gave Marcelo Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A. MILO getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marcelo Cordeiro hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Valgma got free with Dante Lacasa in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Pereyra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Pereyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. With 47 minutes on the clock, Lorenzo Cazalla commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cesar Pereyra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldo Martinez went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 61 minutes of play, C.A. MILO's Cesar Pereyra made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luca Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bonifacio Roca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bonifacio Roca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 71st minute. It was a well-played corner which Luca Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 73 minutes into the match, C.A. MILO's goalkeeper Bonifacio Roca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. A hard shot 75 in the game by Lautaro Mancebo from a close distance when the talented Bonifacio Roca managed to make a qualified save. C.A. MILO's players were relieved. Bonifacio Roca made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Gonsalvo came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Gonsalvo in the 80th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Bonifacio Roca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 84th match minute, C.A. MILO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Chaime to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Jonatan Ospetsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonatan Ospetsu went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score.
