Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Rikard Lägdin came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Olivedals BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rikard Lägdin couldn't finish the play. In the 13thth minute of the game Agustín Saelices who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olivedals BK's Ludvig Forsberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute Olivedals BK were awarded a corner. Martin Olofsson went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Olivedals BK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Evert Stabbe hit a great ball. Olivedals BK's Ludvig Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. Greger Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludvig Forsberg saved Olivedals BK from getting behind. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Stabbe in the 27th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olivedals BK's Ludvig Forsberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludvig Forsberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikard Lägdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play forced Olivedals BK's goalkeeper Ludvig Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rikard Lägdin to make the kick off. Rikard Lägdin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Greger Josefsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Greger Josefsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bengt-Åke Målare kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Rikard Lägdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greger Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Lägdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ludvig Forsberg could save by the left post. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olivedals BK made a substitution. Joachim Käller replaced Rikard Lägdin. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 93 played minutes Olivedals BK got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Målare.
