Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Murillo got the match started through his kick off. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Nojus Bikas came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nojus Bikas might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nojus Bikas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nojus Bikas in the 22nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nojus Bikas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save.
