In the 20th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Alzaga FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Santino Seco made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that Alzaga FC's Arcadio Buendia managed to reach the ball for a save. Arcadio Buendia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 21st minute of the match. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Alzaga FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. Colombia's Kevin Mastache was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arcadio Buendia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arcadio Buendia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orlando Tafalla made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Axel Montenegro however managed to control. In the 76th minute, Alzaga FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kevin Mastache fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alzaga FC made a substitution. Colombia's attentive Antonio Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Bernardino Lohitzun made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
