Cipriano Elazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Gustavo Cordaryal got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Lucio Kemen fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuberbühler FC's protests and gave Lucio Kemen a yellow card for diving instead. Cipriano Elazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute. Cipriano Elazar made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 25 minutes Zuberbühler FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 25th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Zuberbühler FC's Cipriano Elazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Zuberbühler FC from getting a goal against them. Cipriano Elazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 31st minute of the match. Zuberbühler FC's Cipriano Elazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cipriano Elazar, 3-0. Gustavo Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cipriano Elazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Faustino Goren kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Zuberbühler FC defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Elazar. The Zuberbühler FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Elazar should have stopped the shot. Cipriano Elazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Elazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 55th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 59th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Elazar. Zuberbühler FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Elazar. Cipriano Elazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Martxelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Elazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Agustín Saelices heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cipriano Elazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 minutes, Rolando Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zuberbühler FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rolando Furtado hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Zuberbühler FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Rolando Furtado hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cipriano Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ecuador fully deserved thier win.
