Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Medero Nadal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Curcio Morales kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tavio Rienda went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the game, Tavio Rienda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tavio Rienda in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Medero Nadal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25thth minute of the game Medero Nadal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tavio Rienda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rodrigo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Alcocer in the 36th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes VALPICA C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Jerico March. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tavio Rienda in the 39th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. In the 47th minute, Medero Nadal made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VALPICA C.F. were winning 0-7.

Aaron Alcocer charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Alcocer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximiliano Camara struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VALPICA C.F.. After 68 played minutes Tavio Rienda rounded Costa Rica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VALPICA C.F.. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Alain Losada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Tavio Rienda put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Medero Nadal sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute of the match, Medero Nadal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 0-12. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Medero Nadal tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over VALPICA C.F. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
