Anzhelo Gerushin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 9th minute of play. Anzhelo Gerushin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ЦСКА's Anzhelo Gerushin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 16th minute of play. Anzhelo Gerushin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 17th minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Belcho Hlebarov managed to get in a good position for a shot. ЦСКА's supporters rose to their feet, but Belcho Hlebarov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The coaching staff of ЦСКА protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Toncho Súrbinski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 95th minute, one of ЦСКА:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ЦСКА. In the 97th minute, Panama got a penalty, and Abraham Alguacil placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The ЦСКА fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
