Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abdoulay Doucouré made the kick off which started today's match. After 7 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Martínez Quarta. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Firmo got free with Dante Lacasa in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Uriel Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Carlo in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 25th minute. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 27th minute of the match. Felix Luque charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Luque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Lucas Martínez Quarta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menchu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Martínez Quarta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Martínez Quarta was slow to take the kick. During this time Menchu FC's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Salvidor saved Menchu FC from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Camilo Salvidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Firmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Menchu FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. In the 58th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Menchu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 61st minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Camilo Salvidor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Salvidor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abdoulay Doucouré hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Abdoulay Doucouré kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Joel Gaona took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Camilo Salvidor to make any attempt to save it. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Savaş in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Savaş in the 80th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Salvidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 82nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Abdoulay Doucouré kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot.
