The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Justino Stanislao in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Dibala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Dibala in the 19th minute of play. Justino Stanislao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 21st minute of the match. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justino Stanislao having to make a save. Suipacha FC's Justino Stanislao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Suipacha FC from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Abram Sarmiento sped through Suipacha FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Justino Stanislao. With a little luck, Suipacha FC's Justino Stanislao got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Langoni to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Lucas Langoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Lucas Langoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Suipacha FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Oscar Moise hit a great ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Pascual Carballar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suipacha FC's Justino Stanislao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Suipacha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Dibala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Preston Keato succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 80th playminute. Thanks to some nice moves Tor Lönn could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Ferdi Sekste kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Paulo Dibala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Santino Seco got a free kick in the 90th minute. Orlando Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Moise got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
