Pascual Carballar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Behe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Aznar in the 44th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Mattin in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Antonio Indiano kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Behe was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Behe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 60th minute of play forced Ranelagh F.C.'s goalkeeper Francisco Behe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Abram Sarmiento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Francisco Behe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, Ranelagh F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Francisco Behe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Mattin in the 73rd minute of play. Francisco Behe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 77th minute of play forced Ranelagh F.C.'s goalkeeper Francisco Behe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Ranelagh F.C.'s Cirilo Geofredo was substituted for Eusebio Mattin. Ranelagh F.C.'s Federico Oto was substituted for Emilio Solustiano. Francisco Behe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Armando Aznar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Ignacio Mastache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Behe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Antonio Indiano hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Armando Aznar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ranelagh F.C. for a fine match.
