The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Foro during the 3rd minute. Niceto Paio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Davies, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Orlando Iraitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Iraitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th minute, Orlando Iraitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvestre Santio went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After having played for 22 minutes, Silvestre Santio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mustang V8's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Santio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stanley Wallace could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Niceto Paio made a huge save. After 24 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Rocco Owen. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Niceto Paio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Massa in the 35th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harvey Doyle kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Orlando Iraitz scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute Gadiel Bobadilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Gadiel Bobadilla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mustang V8 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Stanley Wallace's late challenge caught a Mustang V8's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gadiel Bobadilla did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Bruno Barrett 59 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Orlando Iraitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, Orlando Iraitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. In the 70th minute, Jonathan Massa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruno Barrett. The goal made the score 0-11. In the 73rd minute, Gadiel Bobadilla fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Stanley Wallace hit a great ball. Mustang V8's Silvestre Santio suffered a sore thigh after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mustang V8's Mariano Harkaitz was substituted for Silvestre Santio. Gadiel Bobadilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Orlando Iraitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Massa scored 0-12 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 85 minutes of play, Mustang V8's Gadiel Bobadilla made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Mustang V8's Mariano Harkaitz. But to his dismay, Mariano Harkaitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. Mustang V8's Gadiel Bobadilla got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Curacao fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mustang V8 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
