In the 11th match minute, DESTROY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Sendoa to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Sendoa. After having played for 37 minutes, Zhuang Hai Xu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DESTROY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhuang Hai Xu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Silverio Gonsalve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Sendoa in the 43rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of play forced DESTROY's goalkeeper Silverio Gonsalve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

DESTROY's 武 Messi was substituted for Faustino Jakes. The wind increased when Armando Maradona made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Gonsalve having to interfere. Cristian Sancho had several of the DESTROY's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Silverio Gonsalve as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 77 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafin Servando hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Zhuang Hai Xu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the DESTROY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhuang Hai Xu couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute Zhuang Hai Xu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Maradona, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
