Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Atilano Quinten made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Atilano Quinten tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Los Delfines's Atilano Quinten, in the 11th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Los Delfines. 13 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matías Patrone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Matías Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matías Patrone came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Quinten in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Los Delfines's Matías Patrone. Matías Patrone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute, Milagros Fraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the game, José Luis Brown threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 45 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atilano Quinten. In the 47th minute, Luz Tejedor sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Los Delfines's Matías Patrone didn't even have to move. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Arquímedes Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Luz Tejedor took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matías Patrone. Matías Patrone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Anthony Alvarado with Moises Gayoso as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 65th minute, Lucas Urbez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Delfines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The supporters of Los Delfines booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luz Tejedor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. 78 minutes into the game, Lucas Urbez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Peru booed when Los Delfines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Møltov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Los Delfines from getting a goal against them. José Luis Brown made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. 92 minutes into the game, Los Delfines's Lucas Urbez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. The supporters of Peru booed when Los Delfines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Møltov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
