Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Clemente Abraão scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Paulinho Guedes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Fabrício Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Negri having to interfere. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrício Negri. Fabrício Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Fabrício Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho Guedes in the 53rd minute of play. Fabrício Negri made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After 59 minutes Dinamo Colorado's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Fabrício Negri made a huge save. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Fabrício Negri however easily saved by the left post. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Lamonica in the 71st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Negri having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fabrício Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabrício Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Fabrício Negri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it.
