Marcel Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 8th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidoro Sarmiento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcel Soares. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th minute, Tomas Berganza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcel Soares. The goal made the score 3-0. 17 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Marcel Soares. 21 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcel Soares, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Sarmiento in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Soares saved Flu Lawyers Soccer Club from getting behind. Alex Cambeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Marcel Soares made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Nilton Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes of play, Panama's Felipe Ros made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidoro Sarmiento might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel Soares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Sarmiento ran back to his position shaking his head. Zé Carlos Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Alex Cambeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcel Soares came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Cambeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 42nd minute. Abraham Alguacil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Soares having to make a save. 47 minutes into the match, Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Marcel Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinícius do Vale made a kick off. The Panama fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Panama's Tomas Berganza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcel Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Panama's Aaron Barrios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Soares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Marcel Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Marcel Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. Marcel Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. Marcel Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 91st minute of play. Panama's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
