The corner led Venezuela's Joshua Secada to a score. 0-1 in the 13th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 21 minutes into the match, DESTROY's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Silverio Gonsalve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Jakes in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Gonsalve saved DESTROY from getting behind. In the 28th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. DESTROY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jose Correa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Maradona in the 30th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. If Armando Maradona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhuang Hai Xu. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Zhuang Hai Xu tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th match minute, DESTROY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Macerio to maneuver through the defense. DESTROY made a substitution. Brennan Johnson replaced Placido Orlandus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhuang Hai Xu in the 75th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Eriberto Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot. DESTROY's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Cefero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, DESTROY's Zhuang Hai Xu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. DESTROY's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
