Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Horia Chioreanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Basarab Panduru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Chioreanu came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valer Perișoară in the 8th minute. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 11th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucrețiu Sfetcu. Lucrețiu Sfetcu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucrețiu Sfetcu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. In the 26th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 37th minute of the match Chile got a corner. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Chile's Francisco Carballar to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucrețiu Sfetcu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Horia Chioreanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucrețiu Sfetcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucrețiu Sfetcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Sfetcu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's Xavier Figueroa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kelly Nicholas, made in the 54th minute of the game. If Xavier Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucrețiu Sfetcu having to make a save. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Panduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Manuel Tunaru in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Alan Tamayo. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Eric Gorcea was substituted for Valer Perișoară. The supporters of Chile booed when FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Perișoară didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Lucrețiu Sfetcu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Chile's Francisco Carballar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lucrețiu Sfetcu but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Malcoci in the 76th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Tunaru in the 83rd minute of the match. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Adrian Nasta was substituted for Basarab Panduru. 85 minutes into the game, Leonard Floricel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chile's Felix Garrido quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lucrețiu Sfetcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 87th minute. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucrețiu Sfetcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Mariano Lacasas short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Lucrețiu Sfetcu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Chile players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
