Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Basarab Panduru took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Valer Perișoară tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Basarab Panduru sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute of the match FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Călin Boieraș ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 22 played minutes FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Birișu. In the 25th minute, Basarab Panduru made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 27 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu. Lucrețiu Sfetcu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Valer Perișoară tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 40th minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Sfetcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Sfetcu having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Horia Chioreanu took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 55th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu got control of the ball when Joel Gaona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Panduru in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 61st minute. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt made a substitution. Costin Malcoci replaced Horia Chioreanu. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Călin Boieraș took the corner. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Basarab Panduru sped through Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. With a little luck, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu got control of the ball when Facundo Cadaval tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Malcoci in the 74th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Facundo Cadaval took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Lucrețiu Sfetcu to make any attempt to save it. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt made a substitution. Eric Gorcea replaced Valer Perișoară. After some careless play in the FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucrețiu Sfetcu. The FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucrețiu Sfetcu should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Malcoci, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucrețiu Sfetcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 89th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucrețiu Sfetcu. Lucrețiu Sfetcu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Nasta, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Alberto Tafalla got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
