Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doni Nóbrega. ARON FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ARON FC's Doni Nóbrega. Doni Nóbrega was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the ARON FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doni Nóbrega. The ARON FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doni Nóbrega should have stopped the shot. Doni Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doni Nóbrega. ARON FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni Nóbrega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ARON FC's Doni Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doni Nóbrega. Doni Nóbrega dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Doni Nóbrega came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 33 minutes into the match, ARON FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Doni Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doni Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A well done corner resulted in Luis Andino drilling the ball in to score 0-8 behind ARON FC's goalkeeper. The ARON FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-9.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Velloso during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luis Andino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Doni Nóbrega made a huge save. Conrado Travassos's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Travassos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ARON FC's Conrado Travassos got a free kick in the 55th minute. Felix Montes took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doni Nóbrega. Doni Nóbrega dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Doni Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doni Nóbrega was a little too slow when Agustín Saelices got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-12. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Doni Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doni Nóbrega came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. In the 75th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of ARON FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. Luis Andino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Doni Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, ARON FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Doni Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doni Nóbrega was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-15. In the 93rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doni Nóbrega was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-16. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Doni Nóbrega made a huge save.
