FRANK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Ignado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Håvard Levang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Esteban Ignado made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Esteban Ignado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 29 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Esteban Ignado sent off a good shot on target. After 37 minutes of play, FRANK's Steve Yzerman made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Esteban Ignado came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugo Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Stefan Mathiassen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Esteban Ignado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Ignado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Hugo Moraes made a huge save. FRANK were furious when Isak Holmvik was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 71st minute, Isak Holmvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FRANK. Håvard Levang hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute FRANK were awarded a corner. Stefan Mathiassen went to the cornerflag to take it. Camilo Gaos tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jonathan Ferrant. An unnecessary self made goal, 8-0 in the 98th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FRANK had won after a very even match.
