Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Karhan Çolak made a huge save. 1-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Daniel Zorita elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Mavian UFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Dragos Ciocan hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Matteo in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mavian UFC's goalkeeper Karhan Çolak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Mavian UFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Lilian Burduja hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maria Marioara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Mavian UFC got a freekick which was hit by Dragos Ciocan. Karhan Çolak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute of play. Karhan Çolak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vasile Bumbac during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karhan Çolak. Mavian UFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciprian Prutean during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Zorita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mavian UFC's Karhan Çolak. 3-1. In the 90th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karhan Çolak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Mavian UFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lilian Burduja charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lilian Burduja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lilian Burduja hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karhan Çolak skillfully saved the ball. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
