The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Zézinho Paulista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Zézinho Paulista hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Sanocki got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play forced Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's goalkeeper Colombain Parham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's Krzysztof Sanocki. But to his dismay, Krzysztof Sanocki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Sylvain Ransom tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Krzysztof Sanocki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krzysztof Sanocki in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gencal Sayıl in the 55th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx the free kick. Gencal Sayıl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Colombain Parham having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Colombain Parham saved Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylvain Ransom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sylvain Ransom came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute of the match, Tomas Illescas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Colombain Parham was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tytus Turak kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
