Sergey Khramczankov hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kinsen Escajedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Партизан was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergey Rudnev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Francisco Seco made a precise shot to the right of Kinsen Escajedo. Партизан's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Kinsen Escajedo came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 16 minutes into the match, Sergey Rudnev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso, 1-3. Kinsen Escajedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Sergey Rudnev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The Партизан fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kinsen Escajedo should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 3-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. Maximiliano Escribano in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kinsen Escajedo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. Bruno Beldad kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Beldad. André Melin hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergey Rudnev, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Maximiliano Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Adam Lipan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Партизан's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. In the 83rd match minute, Партизан was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergey Rudnev to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Di Lello came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergey Rudnev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Партизан's Timur Pauliak got a free kick in the 89th minute. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kinsen Escajedo but with some difficulty. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Kinsen Escajedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Uruguay had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
