Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Natalio Bernal took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 9 minutes, Natalio Bernal made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Zuberbühler FC's Cipriano Elazar got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Cipriano Elazar made a huge save. In the 15th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Mouricio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Bernal in the 18th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Zuberbühler FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rolando Furtado hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Elazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After 21 minutes, Cristian Sancho made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zuberbühler FC's Cipriano Elazar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Eleder in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Natalio Bernal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cipriano Elazar made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Zuberbühler FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Adan Mouricio hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Elazar having to interfere. Cipriano Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of play. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Cipriano Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play. Cipriano Elazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Cipriano Elazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Elazar having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Zuberbühler FC defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Elazar. The Zuberbühler FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Elazar should have stopped the shot. Cipriano Elazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
