In the 11th minute, Lv Zhou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, BUITRES II's Lv Zhou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to BUITRES II getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jarrett Helms hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Paul Bogrea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Paul Bogrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jarrett Helms during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Lv Zhou put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Alex Chicote mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the BUITRES II players grew even worse after the yellow card. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 范翔宽 in the 90th minute of play. After 91 played minutes BUITRES II got a freekick which was hit by Jarrett Helms. Alex Chicote got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of BUITRES II booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
