Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Queirós in the 12th minute of play. Squadra Demarchi's Richard Moura quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ivan Navarro, made in the 15th minute of the game. After 16 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Cléber Vaz. 18 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Pinho came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Squadra Demarchi got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kaká Simão ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kléber Queirós was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 22nd minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Christian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The supporters of Squadra Demarchi booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaká Simão was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oscar Saldanha, 2-0. 43 minutes into the game, one of Honduras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Squadra Demarchi a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kaká Simão, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 51st minute, Kléber Queirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 68thth minute of the game Kléber Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 72 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Queirós in the 73rd minute of play. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nelson Vidal in the 75 minute of the game. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelson Vidal made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kléber Queirós. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Kléber Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Saldanha was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Squadra Demarchi! In the 97th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
