Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Alonso Berganza hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Glentown FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Glentown FC's Kent Beckeman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Glentown FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Glentown FC's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Beckeman came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kent Beckeman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miromir Gdowski in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goalkeeper Kent Beckeman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasta Alfonso in the 81st minute of the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasta Alfonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amanda Cabello made a great header on Glentown FC's corner, it was just that Peru's Rolando Noboa managed to reach the ball for a save.
