C.'s Ronaldinho Romero made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 13th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mexilhão F. C.'s Intxixu Porregimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexilhão F. C. the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Anaia Barba:s penalty. 20 minutes into the game, Mexilhão F. C.'s Anaia Barba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Romero in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Mexilhão F. C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ronaldinho Romero sent off a good shot on target. Ronaldinho Romero had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 30th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Intxixu Porregimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldinho Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 43 minutes into the game, Mexilhão F. C.'s Anaia Barba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Kacper Jaworski hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anaia Barba made a kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Romero in the 52nd minute of play. Arthur dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Abel de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Anaia Barba hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Anaia Barba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Anaia Barba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Intxixu Porregimon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Pernambucano in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Intxixu Porregimon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Intxixu Porregimon made a huge save. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Intxixu Porregimon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play.
