Augusto Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 8 minutes of play, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Axel Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Falcão Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Axel Montenegros short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Falcão Cunha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 23 in the game by Axel Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Falcão Cunha managed to make a qualified save. Gracie Barra's players were relieved. 27 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. 28 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Saldanha came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes in the game Alessandro Luther did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Augusto Saldanha. The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Axel Montenegro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Falcão Cunha. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. Joshua Garrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Falcão Cunha was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Falcão Cunha was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 54 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Falcão Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Abram Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute of the match Gracie Barra got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rubens Rezende ran over to the corner to take the kick. Augusto Saldanha had several of the Colombia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Pedro Manzanares as he didn't even see the shot coming. Augusto Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. If Augusto Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Saldanha got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Augusto Saldanha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 2-3. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel de Lara in the 76th minute. Emanuel de Lara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuel de Lara slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 78th minute. Emanuel de Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel de Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Emanuel de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Emanuel de Lara scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 2-5. 85 minutes into the game, Luis Cazalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gracie Barra the free kick. Luis Cazalla hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Emanuel de Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel de Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the game, Pascual Carballar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-6. Falcão Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gracie Barra played a much better game than Colombia and deserved their victory. The Colombia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
