Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Miguel in the 14th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. 16 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Miromir Gdowski came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Miguel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glentown FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Kent Beckeman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 25th minute. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Pascual Carballar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kent Beckeman quite easily take care of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Harry Sandström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, Glentown FC's Kent Beckeman got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Glentown FC's Kent Beckeman got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Glentown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Sandström to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Axel Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Glentown FC's Tom Lindholm quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Hasta Alfonso scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 2-2. After 68 minutes of play, Glentown FC's Miromir Gdowski made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. In the 73rd minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Beckeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Antonio Indiano hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miromir Gdowski. In the 91st minute, Glentown FC's Miromir Gdowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. When Colombia's Ignacio Mastache in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
