Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Johnsson in the 5th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match VBL Stockholm got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Torbjörn Grönlund ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 16th minute VBL Stockholm were awarded a corner. Torbjörn Grönlund went to the cornerflag to take it. Carl-Chester Vallgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 29 minutes into the match, VBL Stockholm's Olov Johnsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Olov Johnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl-Chester Vallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torbjörn Grönlund kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Johnsson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Olov Johnsson came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the VBL Stockholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Johnsson couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Olov Johnsson made the kick off in the second half. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Olov Johnsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Torbjörn Grönlund was slow to take the kick. During this time VBL Stockholm's players had a chance to rest. Bernt Vallander was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Edvin Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, VBL Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Carl-Chester Vallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gisbert got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luis Andino. VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Sebastián Puig in the 82nd minute of play. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than VBL Stockholm throughout the match.
