Celedonio Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Celedonio Eguen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Vicente Marin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Celedonio Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen. Celedonio Eguen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celedonio Eguen was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 4-1. Celedonio Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Mariano Egoitz took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Tafalla hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Celedonio Eguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Zorita took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Eguen. Celedonio Eguen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. 74 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Marin came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Rozarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Minas Makris came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Minas Makris in the 80th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Marin in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Matheu City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Lastur to maneuver through the defense. Ruperto Serafo charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Serafo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruperto Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 91st minute. Mexico's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
