Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 9 minutes, Elivélton Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balus Treter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elivélton Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balus Treter's Gottlieb Hammer got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karsten Zielinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Hannes Esch put in a rough tackle. 19 minutes into the game, one of Balus Treter:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Karsten Zielinski went to the wrong direction when Daniel Zorita was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 24th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Zielinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gottlieb Hammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karsten Zielinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 38th minute of the match. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balus Treter's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karsten Zielinski having to interfere. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gottlieb Hammer made the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Andino made in the 52nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Sancho however managed to control. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karsten Zielinski could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of play forced Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gottlieb Hammer went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gottlieb Hammer in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karsten Zielinski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karsten Zielinski quite easily take care of the ball. Karsten Zielinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute of the match. Vilhelm Trulsson kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Balus Treter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottlieb Hammer didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottlieb Hammer in the 85th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Trulsson. Balus Treter's Gottlieb Hammer got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Balus Treter from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
