Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Mocanu in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Cozorici in the 14th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Alphonse struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Lucrețiu Stafie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Geantă, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Mugur Geantă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noel Seide was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 24 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Alphonse. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Geantă in the 26th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play, Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucrețiu Stafie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Alphonses short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Lucrețiu Stafie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonathan Alphonse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lucrețiu Stafie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Alphonse to strike the kick off in the second half. Haiti's Ernso Constant got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Alphonse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jean Claude Ulysse hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Jean Marie Alcius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barbutza's Mugur Geantă couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Haiti. Mugur Geantă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Cozorici scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Seide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Noel Seide was a little too slow when Mugur Geantă got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by George Enache in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haiti's Jean Marie Alcius. Jean Marie Alcius kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Noel Seide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilie Mocanu in the 79th minute. Rodney Emmanuel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Haiti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Barbutza a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mugur Geantă, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. 1-3. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ernso Constant hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Ilie Mocanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Noel Seide, 1-4. Barbutza's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
