Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. USA's Cassius Byrne was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nacho Molina in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacob May got free with Nacho Molina in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nacho Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 55th minute of the match. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alano Quintana in the 95th minute of play.
