After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Miguel Miralles managed to get in a good position for a shot. The tension between the san isidro and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Cleto Camerino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Garrido. Generoso Sandaili, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Panama's Matthew Garrido got a free kick in the 37th minute. Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mieszko Bierfass. Mieszko Bierfass dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. Panama's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ariel Goyo 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mieszko Bierfass saved san isidro from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salvador Marko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. If Ariel Goyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isidoro Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mieszko Bierfass read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
