Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas de Souza in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tomé Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Gilmar Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilmar Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gilmar Castro sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. After a rather tough play, Floresta Club U18's Remo da Rocha got a free kick in the 16th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Tomé Reis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. In the 31stth minute of the game Douglas de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Douglas de Souza sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. After 36 minutes, Douglas de Souza made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ruy da Rocha, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 40th minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Paraguay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Floresta Club U18:s goal. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Floresta Club U18. Douglas de Souza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jacobo Nores. 0-6. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Castro in the 52nd minute of the match. Floresta Club U18's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ruy da Rocha in the 53rd minute. 63 minutes into the game, Douglas de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Floresta Club U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomé Reis scored 0-9 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza. But to his dismay, Douglas de Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Ivan Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Maia in the 83rd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Escribano hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Douglas de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas de Souza in the 87th minute. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Douglas de Souza sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute of the match Floresta Club U18 got a corner. Paraguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruy da Rocha ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Floresta Club U18's Tomé Reis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.
