Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Emmanuel in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Cats and dogs were awarded a corner. Nicolas Hamard went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Nicolas Hamard got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Salim Vera kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Nicolas Hamard notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Redouane Goude's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Redouane Goude helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Redouane Goude. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Joe Camp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joe Camp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cats and dogs defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joe Camp. The Cats and dogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joe Camp should have stopped the shot. Nicolas Hamard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Emmanuel in the 33rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Felix Emmanuel sent off a good shot on target. Felix Emmanuel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 42nd playminute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Hamard in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. Redouane Goude kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Felix Emmanuel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Hamard came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Felix Emmanuel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaétan Bouchard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Gaétan Bouchard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaétan Bouchard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cats and dogs's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joe Camp came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Cats and dogs's Nicolas Hamard. But to his dismay, Nicolas Hamard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Gaétan Bouchard hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 90th minute of play forced Cats and dogs's goalkeeper Joe Camp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salim Vera made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cats and dogs's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
