In the 61st minute Joost de Zaaijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Mik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Leiden Spor Kulubu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freek Som didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leiden Spor Kulubu's Damien Korfs was substituted for Cosmin Toacsen. In the 71st match minute, Leiden Spor Kulubu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freek Som to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Venegas lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Freek Som received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
