Arturo Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

Porteño Prowess FC's Boris Mikaelsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arturo Carvallo in the 54 minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Porteño Prowess FC's Enrico Barreneche. But to his dismay, Enrico Barreneche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. 64 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's Enrico Barreneche sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Porteño Prowess FC made a substitution. Fiallos Mellado replaced Baltasar Innocenzio. After 67 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boris Mikaelsson who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Boris Mikaelsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso did a great save. The audience was convinced that Enrico Barreneche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. Jaime Cazalla made a great header on Uruguay's corner, it was just that Porteño Prowess FC's Alejandro Gavilanes managed to reach the ball for a save. 80 minutes into the match, Villafuerte Aramoyana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Villafuerte Aramoyana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. 83 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Gavilanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Alejandro Gavilanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When the match clock showed 99 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Villafuerte Aramoyana sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Porteño Prowess FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
