Alexander Manninger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alexander Manninger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Manninger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Stuart Legzdins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stuart Legzdins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Legzdins in the 18th minute of play. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play forced  ☆冰谷☆Manchester United's goalkeeper Alexander Manninger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Manninger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Manninger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Alexander Manninger in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after  ☆冰谷☆Manchester United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Alexander Manninger despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Aleixo in the 60th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Alexander Manninger successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 70th minute. Alexander Manninger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 71st minute of the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Manninger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Silva in the 74th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Silva in the 75th minute of play. The throw-in from Lütfi Selahaddin in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Anthony Alvarado. With a little luck,  ☆冰谷☆Manchester United's Alexander Manninger got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Manninger.  ☆冰谷☆Manchester United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Gallo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The corner was taken by Danny Farmer in the 90th minute. A nice corner shot did that Danny Farmer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 92 minutes into the game, Rafael Gallo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexander Manninger. Rafael Gallo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. In the 95thth minute of the game Filipe Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
